N6NA - 446.200 Repeater Information
The 440 repeater is offline for compliance with the Beale Airforce Base radar requirements.
This is to eliminate interfearence with the
PAVE PAWS site at Beale
We have been informed that we need to reduce our output by
33db. So, let's say we are at 30watts. 33db would mean we would have to cut back to about
.01 Watts. 10mw!? The transmitter WITHOUT the power amplifier puts out more than that!
